you might as well call it a comeback
Blogging is back/cool again. Like knee high socks.
Update: Ok, so why did everything end up here?
Even though I have my name on almost as many domain renewal forms as this guy I haven't operated a traditional weblog for some time. There has been no place for me to empty my brain, nowhere for me tell strangers about what I had for dinner and no home for my fictitious tales of everyday heroism. This bothered me greatly.
Back in the good ol' days (aka 2003) I dropped words, sentences and crude-ness in a place called Brown Cardigan. But when I made the decision to add in multiple authors on the site and transform it into a visual "stream of conscious" I also lost the personal side of things. Now, this isn't to say I regret that decision - quite the opposite in fact - but I do miss not having my own space/place to randomly spit words at those who were passing by. Crazy man on the street corner vibes.
So now we arrive at this forkette in the road. Along with code snippets (which for a short time lived on a Tumblr site) this website will function as a place for me to talk openly and randomly about anything, everything and nothing. Most of my music discussion will still take place over here, but everything else (code, work, running, 69-ing) will be discussed within this little sanctuary. Ok, so yeah, I probably won't be talking about 69-ing. Unless you want me to. Drop some feedback in the comments. Oh, wait. Yeah, I might add them in soon.
Hopefully, sometime in the not-too-distant future I plan to put together a better explanation about what this is really all about.
